How we keep reviews useful and accountable

NSFWAITool's editorial rules for evidence, opinions, affiliate relationships, corrections, and responsible adult-product coverage.

Every page should help a reader make a more informed decision than they could make from a product slogan alone. That means documenting useful specifics, distinguishing evidence from interpretation, and refusing to manufacture certainty when a destination cannot be checked.

Evidence before conclusions

Feature, pricing, platform, privacy, and availability statements should come from a traceable public source: the official destination, its pricing or policy pages, an app-store listing, or a captured public interface. A vendor's claim is described as a claim, not converted into an independently verified fact. Community discussion may identify questions, but it is not treated as proof of product performance.

Reviews are not templates with names swapped

Pages are organized around the decision that matters for that product and category. A companion review may emphasize memory, character controls, and media credits; a face-swap review needs consent controls, upload handling, and video limits; a connected device review needs compatibility, support, materials, cleaning, shipping, and warranty details. Repeated navigation or safety reminders are acceptable, but the main assessment must reflect product-specific evidence.

Facts, judgment, and uncertainty

Visible features and published prices are reported as observations with appropriate qualifiers. Recommendations, trade-offs, and value judgments are editorial opinions. Missing policy links, blocked destinations, unclear billing, or conflicting product copy are disclosed as uncertainty rather than silently resolved in the product's favor.

Commercial relationships

Some outbound links may generate referral revenue. Referral status does not determine whether a tool is listed, its category position, the weaknesses described, or whether the page remains indexable. Paid placement, supplied copy, or a complimentary account would need clear disclosure on the affected page; supplied marketing text is not published as an independent review.

Corrections and removals

Factual corrections are evaluated against current evidence. Broken, repurposed, unsafe, duplicate, or substantially misleading destinations may be updated, consolidated, excluded from search, or removed. Requests to hide accurate criticism are not treated as corrections. Report an issue through Contact with the relevant page and evidence.
